Shirley was born December 27, 1924 in Rutland, Vermont. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Alice Webster. Shirley is survived by her son Peter Buswell and wife Gwendolyn of Harwich, MA, and Boynton Beach FL, a grand daughter, Rebecca Woolley and her husband Vince, and great grandson, Wade Woolley of Brimfield, MA. Shirley was pre-deceased by her parents, and adopted parents, William and Eugena Woodbury, and her husband Donald E.C. Buswell. Shirley was a retired employee of Westinghouse Electric-Utility Division. She was an artist specializing in Vermont landscapes and flowers.

A memorial service will be held this summer on Cape Cod, MA.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County (TrustBridge Hospice), 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or to a favorite charity.
