Age 88 of Delray Beach, FL died Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was born September 23, 1924 in Middletown, CT. Before moving to Delray Beach in 1982, Shirley had lived in Chappaqua, NY where she was a volunteer with the Chappaqua Ambulance Corps for over 20 years. Shirley was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Robert Shea, with whom she volunteered at the Chappaqua Fire Dept. She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Durkin of Raleigh, NC and is survived by her daughter, Sandra Irwin of Prescott, AZ; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
