Dr. S. G. "Duke" MacIsaac (Colonel); passed away suddenly November 13, 2011. He received his medical degree from Dal Housie University in1961. He practiced at the Montreal General Hospital specializing in Urology. In 1980 he joined the American Army, stationed at Fort Dix, later served as chief of Urology at Evans Army Hospital in Colorado. He retired in 1999 and moved to Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Claudette of 53 years; his son Greg; his daughter Lisa (Neil) Fairman and his beloved grandchildren Shani, Paige, Stephen and Stirling.
There are no words to describe our great sorrow… To have known this wonderful man was a blessing. He will be in our hearts forever. Soar with the Angels!
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 8:00 am at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 West Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach, Florida 33426. An inurnment will take place at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida at 9:30 am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montreal General Hospital or the Heart Foundation.
