Bronson Jr.
November 1, 1935 – January 16, 2026
Theodore Lawrence Bronson, Jr. went home to the Lord peacefully on Friday evening January 16, 2026, with his loving wife of 67 years, Geraldine, by his side.
Ted was a generous man and devoted husband and father of outstanding character and integrity. A former resident of Bridgeport and Shelton, CT, after 57 years of service to the US Postal Service, Ted retired to Boynton Beach, Florida. He was a patriotic US Army veteran, and one of his favorite activities later in life was breakfast and walking the mall with his Army buddies. He was a Vice President of Shelton North Little League, and coach of several youth basketball and baseball teams. Ted was a lover of life, his family, and friends, enjoying traveling and cruises, Jersey Shore vacations, great meals, playing cards, and sporting events. He was a lifelong New York Giant fan and a proud member of the Paradise "21" Athletic Club.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Helen (Hawkins) Bronson. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sons, Theodore (Cynthia), Thomas (Denise), James (Kathryn), and Paul (Jofel Pia); grandchildren, Nicole (Aki Nishimura-Gasparian), Theodore, Victoria (Nicholas Demetri), Emmeline, Daniel, and William; and great-grandchildren, Cooper, Owen, Skylar, and Calvin.
A Celebration of Life will be held early Spring at the Vertical Church in West Haven, Ct.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated at Shriners Children's , or the Dream Center of West Haven via Vertical Church Outreach.
