Tom was born in Staten Island, New York to his parents Eugene and Virginia Cappellini and resided there until moving to Florida in 1984. Since 1974, Tom, our sons Keith and Marc, and I spent several months annually in Florida prior to moving to Boynton Beach.
Tom was a car enthusiast and as a young man enjoyed racing and going to car shows. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. Unfortunately, Tom suffered through serious health issues for many years, which eventually diminished his ability to participate in the activities he enjoyed.

Tom spent a great deal of time in and out of the hospital, but he never gave up hope or complained about his health and continually fought to survive. His doctors called him superman because of his sheer determination to live. Tom was one of the most courageous and strongest people I have ever known and he will be missed.
