Thomas Cowhey was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by his loving parents
Thomas and Gladys along with his beloved siblings Irene, Mike and Joe. He was
married to the love of his life Dorothy Cowhey for over 60 years who only passed
away on October 24th. He loved and adored her from the moment he met her
and missed her immensely for the last 73 days of his life. It was the longest they
had ever been separated since they were married.

They had 3 daughters he cherished, Janis, Laurene and Christa and 3 devoted son
in laws, Joe, Jim and Marcantonio with whom he was very close. His
grandchildren, Gene, Kyle, Laura, Jimmy, Tommy, Matteo and Makalya were his
pride and joy. He passed away peacefully at his home in Boynton Beach surrounded by his loving
daughters holding his hand.

A memorial Mass in Thomas's honor will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic
Church in Boynton Beach on Friday, January 27th at 10 a.m.
Luncheon to follow at Mama Mia Trattoria on Hypoluxo Road in Lake Worth.
In addition, in February a Mass will be held for Thomas and Dorothy at Our Lady
of the Blessed Sacrament in Bayside, New York followed by their burial at
Calverton National Cemetery and a Celebration of Life luncheon. Details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Thomas' name to
his parish in which he was lectern, devoted many hours and found much solace,
