Thomas B. Fahey, Jr., 67, formerly of Dedham, MA, passed peacefully at his home in Boynton Beach, FL, on July 22, 2026. Tom was born in Boston, MA, on May 21,1959, to the late Thomas B. Fahey and Marie F. Egan (Massarelli).

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Brenda Lee Fahey, in 1984, and his brother, Glenn Martin Fahey, in 2018. He is survived by his loving brothers, Christopher G. Fahey of Boynton Beach, FL; Shawn F. Fahey of West Palm Beach, FL; Richard M. Massarelli, Jr. (Rosie) of Tupelo, MS; David M. Massarelli (Michelle) of Stoughton, MA; and Steven R. Massarelli of Brockton, MA.

Tom also leaves behind his beloved niece, Allison M. Fahey, and nephew, Brendan R. Fahey, both of Sebastian, FL, the children of his late brother Glenn and his wife, Andrea.

Tom shared a special bond with his niece and nephew and will be deeply missed by them and their family.

He also leaves behind his loving Georgia Egan family: Paul, Kathy, Tricia, Tracy, Jim, and Uncle Jack, as well as many cherished friends and extended family members. Tom shared a particularly special relationship with his cousin Paul.

Paul was always there for Tom and worked closely with his brother Chris to help take care of things and make sure Tom was supported. Their special bond was a meaningful part of Tom's life. 

Tom worked for the Palm Beach County Water Department for more than 25 years, where he served as a Supervisor.

Tom enjoyed watching classic movies, playing video games, golfing, and, most of all, spending time with family and close friends.

He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend to many. His kindness, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced in the near future.
