Thomas "Tom" Wayne Melba, 65, of Delray Beach, passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at his home in Jensen Beach, FL. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Diane Melba, former wife and mother of his children, Miera Melba, his son, Thomas Melba, Jr. (Missy) of Jacksonville, FL, and daughter, Megan Giuttari (Dwayne) of Delray Beach, FL. He also leaves behind his mother, Gloria Huntley, his brothers and sisters, Karen, Chip, Holly and Paul as well as his stepchildren, Sheri Blakeney (Ron) and Billy Singersen. Tom was the grandfather to Kendyl Blakeney, Thomas Melba III, Charlotte Connors, and Megan and Dwayne's expected daughter, Madison Giuttari. Tom moved to Delray Beach, FL in 1976, where he started his own real estate business, Thomas W. Melba Realty, which is currently the longest established privately owned real estate company in Delray Beach, FL. He was loved by all and didn't have an enemy in the world. His smile was infectious and it did not matter who you were - everyone was Tom Melba's friend. Services will be held in honor of Tom on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Unity Church of Delray Beach.
