Timothy Lee Rocchio, 57, of Boynton Beach passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Hospice Boca Care Center. Tim was a flower child of the 60's who inspired others with his zest for life. A traumatic brain injury in a 1982 car crash left Tim disabled. However, it was the catalyst that resulted in the founding of the Brain Injury Association of Florida and subsequent programs and funding sources for those lacking sufficient funds for rehabilitation.

Tim was predeceased by his father, Joseph C. Rocchio and is survived by his mother, Carolyn; brother, Joseph Scott Rocchio (Tami) of Boynton Beach; sisters, Julie R. Bennett of Fountain Inn, SC and Carol L. Rocchio-Verrilli (Robert) of Gulf Shores, AL; and nephew, Joseph C. Rocchio of Boynton Beach.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach with visitation from 11:00am to 12:00pm followed by the funeral service at 12:00pm. A reception at Benvenuto's Restaurant, 1730 N. Federal Hwy., Boynton Beach will follow the service.
