Vincent J. Carpentier, 87, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 14, 1927, Vince grew up in the Bronx, lived most of his life in Long Island, NY and Marlton, NJ and retired to Boynton Beach in 1997. After serving in the Army, Vince went to work for the Port Authority of New York which led to a lifelong career in the construction industry. Vince was a member of the American Society of Testing Materials and the International Union of Operating Engineers. He is survived by his wife Marion, daughter Stacy, two sister-in-laws, a brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach on September 5, 2015 at 11AM. Arrangements handled by the Boynton Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Vince's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Southeast Florida Chapter, 3333 Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33406.
