Vincent Louis Misiano

1927 – 2019

Vincent Louis Misiano was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 9, 1917.  He served in the US Army for 11 years as a Military Policeman.  While serving in the Army, he met Sara Cristadoro and they were married in 1951, while living in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  After serving our country, Vincent worked as the Union Foreman for United Parcel Service.  Later on, he and Sara moved to Long Island, New York, where he owned and operated a gas station.  In Freeport, Long Island, Vincent was an active member of and served as Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks from 1969 - 1970.

In 1966, Sara and Vincent moved to Delray Beach, Florida.  They were both very active in the St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach, where Vincent was the head usher for many years, in addition to heading up and chairing many church activities such as the pancake breakfasts, BINGO and the fish fries.

Vincent was very active in the Knights of Columbus in Delray Beach.  While living in Delray Beach, Vincent also worked for a plumbing supply company and as a Traffic Enforcement Officer for the City of Delray Beach.

Vincent is survived by three nieces, Debbie Farrell, Johnna Mathes and Christine Perusa and by a nephew, Robert Cristadoro.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday, January 18, 2019, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach.  Entombment will follow at Boynton Beach Mausoleum.
