Obituary

Walter Worona, 94, Boynton Beach, passed away Sunday, 8/19/18.
He graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in 1944.  He served in WWII and served in the U.S. Navy, attaining rank of Lieutenant.
He is survived by his sons, Bernard (wife Cynthia) and Walter Jr. (wife Pam), three grandsons, Peter (wife Amy), Steven, and William (wife Michelle), two great granddaughters, Kayla and Alana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 8/22/18, from 2 - 6 PM at Boynton Memorial Chapel.  Funeral services will be Thursday, 8/23/18, at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 11:00 AM.  Address 1500 South State Rd 7, North Lauderdale.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
