It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne P. Lord announces his passing on September 20, 2018. Wayne was the son of the late Herbert and Velma (Hermann) Lord. He was born in Putnam, Connecticut on November 9,1947. Wayne served in the army during the Vietnam War. He was a helicopter mechanic/crew chief for 32 years with Sikorsky Aircraft. Wayne loved spending time outdoors and with his family. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, target shooter, and winner of many state shooting championships.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 48 years Jean (Forman) Lord, daughter Jennifer Lord Rivara, Son-in-law Luke Rivara, three grandsons, Luke Jr., Nicholas, and Dominic. Several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousin-in-law (hunting buddy/like a brother) Bill Laurence.

A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Boynton Memorial Chapel.
