Wilhemina Mary Hartigan (Mary), 89, of West Palm Beach, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2011. She was born in West, Texas on April 18, 1922. She worked as a nurse in Texas, Georgia and West Palm Beach. Mrs. Hartigan has been a resident of Palm Beach County since the early 1950's when she moved to West Palm Beach with her husband and son William from Atlanta, Georgia.
Mary is survived by her son William Hartigan and his wife Kristy Justis of Palm Beach Gardens. Other survivors include three brothers John (Dorothy) Podsednik, Dan (Marie) Podsednik and Albin (Carolyn) Podsednik; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1982.
A Memorial Service will be held 11am Monday, January 9, 2012 at Boynton Memorial Chapel, 800 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., Boynton Beach. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
