William Gibson is pre-deceased in death by two brothers, Frank and JR Gibson and two granddaughters, Ginny Sattari and Cathie Kelly.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rossella Gibson; his children, Suzzie Sattari, Alessandro Gibson and Melissa Purvis; two son-in-laws, Hamid Sattari and Brian Purvis; seven grandchildren, William Sattari, Kristian and Lauren Gibson, Ashley, Daniella, William and Henry Purvis; his cousin, Edna Earl Painter and several nieces and nephews.
