Obituary

Bill Wenderoth entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at the age of 94. Born on June 2, 1916, he was a proud, kind and loving man. Bill loved his wife, Irene, dearly throughout their 66 years of marriage. He was born and raised in New York City and has spent the last 25 years in Boynton Beach, Fl. Bill was a member of the local Moose and the Elks, as well as a proud member of the Masons for over 70 years. He was proud to serve his country in the Army Air Corp during WW II. Bill also was an active volunteer as an Ambassador at the Palm Beach County Airport. He touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with and will be missed by many.
Bill leaves behind his beloved wife Irene Wenderoth; his daughter Phyllis Moore and her husband Tim; and his son Craig Wenderoth and his wife Maryan. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 West Boynton Beach Boulevard, Boynton Beach, with Pastor John D. Johnson of Son Life Lutheran Church officiating. Internment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery, State Road 7, in Lake Worth.
