IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Mclaren
Keough
August 15, 1942 – April 11, 2018
Linda McLaren Keough, aged 74, died peacefully on April 11, 2018 in Boynton Beach, FL., after a struggle with cancer and recent stroke. Linda was born August 15, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Joseph Hewitt and May McLaren Cooch Hewitt. Although it was never officially recorded, the stars must have been perfectly aligned that day, for there would never be another like her to walk this earth.
On January 20, 1968, Linda married the love of her life, Richard J. Keough, and just this past year they celebrated a joyous milestone of 50 years of marriage together. Linda's youthful passion for books followed her into her career as she enjoyed working in book stores while collecting and reading as many as possible. She had a knack for needlepoint and enjoying life as she saw fit.
Linda was not only a celebrated wife to Richard but, also mother of two; Brian Keough (45), of Boynton Beach, FL., his wife Jennifer Keough and their son Brandon Keough, and Linda's daughter, Joanna Montante (39) of Loxahatchee, FL., married to Gaetano Montante and their three children, Micheal, Joseph and Daniella. Linda is also survived by her brothers Peter Hewitt and Jeffrey Hewitt.
The family wishes to thank all that cared for her during her illness. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Linda will remain forever in our hearts and is surely causing a ruckus up in heaven as we know it. Arrangements have been provided by Boynton Memorial Chapel and St. Joseph's Episcopal Church. A private internment to be held at the South Florida National Cemetery on April 19, 2018.
